Local terminal¶

Open a local shell — no SSH involved.
Supported shells¶
- PowerShell (Core + Windows PowerShell)
- Command Prompt (
cmd.exe) - Git Bash
- WSL — each installed distro
- Bash, Zsh, Fish, sh, dash
- Any shell on your
$PATH
Opening one¶
- Hosts page → Local button (top right).
- Command palette → type the shell name.
Local terminals support split panes, broadcast, themes — same as SSH sessions.
Pin a shell
Save a local shell as a host (with working directory + env vars) to launch from the Hosts grid.
