Billing¶

Subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Manage yours from your account page at app.voltius.app, under Current plan. Manage billing → there opens Lemon Squeezy's billing portal for payment details.

Seats¶

• Teams / Business are seat-based, with a minimum of 3 seats.
• Add seats from Members → Invite → Buy seats in the desktop app — the prorated charge is invoiced immediately — or change the seat count in the portal.
• Removing a member frees their seat for your next invite right away, but doesn't lower your bill: you keep paying for the seats you bought. To pay for fewer, lower the seat count in the portal (minimum 3); Lemon Squeezy prorates the change on your next invoice.

Invoices¶

Manage billing → on your account page opens Lemon Squeezy's billing portal, which lists your invoices. Lemon Squeezy emails them as well.

Cancellation¶

On your account page, Pro has a Cancel subscription button, and Resume subscription until the period ends. For Teams and Business, cancel in Lemon Squeezy's billing portal: Manage billing →, or Cancel subscription on the Free plan card. Either way, access continues until the period end. After expiry:

• Your Personal vault keeps working — it's local-first. Cloud sync needs Pro, so below Pro it stops syncing.
• Team vaults you own stop working for every member: the server stops handing out their keys and syncing them. Team vaults are online-only, so there's no offline copy to fall back on.
• Terminal sharing through those vaults stops. A Pro account can still share one terminal by link or direct invite.
• The audit log stays readable to members allowed to view it.

The Voltius server is AGPLv3 — see Self-Hosting. Business subscribers also get a Commercial License Exception.
